About the Company
Our client is a leading PE-backed product based group with a portfolio of well-established, market-leading brands. With decades of industry experience, the business is known for its commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability, delivering products and solutions across Australia and globally.
They are currently seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join on a 10-month fixed-term contract, supporting the business through a critical budgeting and planning cycle. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a small, high-performing team and play a key role in driving financial planning, reporting, and strategic insight across the group. This is a high-impact role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to add immediate value.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor and support a small team of Analysts
- Maintain team stability, performance and development during the contract period
- Act as a key link between finance and broader business stakeholders
- Lead the annual budgeting process and group-wide consolidation
- Manage forecasting and reforecasting cycles
- Deliver high-quality, insightful reporting and “board-ready” presentations
- Oversee monthly reporting and performance analysis
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and clarity of financial outputs
- Partner closely with Finance Business Partners and Controllership teams
- Build and enhance financial models and planning tools
- Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling
- Drive process improvements across reporting, planning and systems
About You
- Proven FP&A experience (Manager level or strong Senior Analyst with leadership potential ready to step up)
- CA/CPA advantageous (but not a deal-breaker)
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability
- Experience in corporate/group reporting within a multi-site or complex environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in consumer products or manufacturing is advantageous.
