Sharp & Carter is proud to partner with a highly regarded funeral services provider to appoint a Funeral Administrator / Arranger based in Holland Park, Brisbane.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, values-led team.

This position combines reception, administration, and light funeral arranging responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for families, playing a critical role in creating a warm, professional, and supportive environment.

While primarily based in Holland Park, you may occasionally support nearby locations (e.g. Mt Gravatt, Cleveland), with a company vehicle provided for any travel required.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, with no weekend requirement.

Remuneration & Benefits
  • $29.81 per hour + super (during probation)
  • Increasing to $32.29 per hour + super post-probation

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for families entering the funeral home
  • Answer phones and manage a steady flow of enquiries
  • Provide professional, empathetic meet-and-greet reception support
  • Assist with:
    • Booking appointments
    • Preparing documentation
    • Coordinating logistics across locations
  • Support families by:
    • Listening to their needs
    • Assisting with basic funeral quotes (training provided)
  • Ensure the office runs smoothly, maintaining a welcoming and organised environment
  • Liaise with internal teams to support seamless service delivery
About You

This role will suit someone with a strong customer service or administrative background, particularly in environments requiring empathy and professionalism.

Training & Support No prior funeral industry experience is required. You will be supported through:
