Sharp & Carter is proud to partner with a highly regarded provider in the funeral services sector to appoint a Funeral Arranger / Conductor.

This is a meaningful opportunity to join a passionate, community-focused team, supporting families through important moments.

The Opportunity
You will work across multiple South Brisbane locations (including Holland Park and Mt Gravatt), supporting the end-to-end arrangement and coordination of funeral services.

No two days are the same — you will be involved from initial family meetings through to service coordination and delivery, ensuring every detail is managed with care and professionalism.

Hours & Remuneration
  • Monday – Friday, standard business hours (with flexibility required)
  • On-call roster approximately 1 in 5 weekends
  • $32 per hour + super
  • Additional on-call allowances and overtime where applicable
Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with families to arrange funeral services, guiding them through options with empathy and care
  • Coordinate all aspects of services including venues, celebrants, vehicles, flowers, and logistics
  • Manage end-to-end service delivery, ensuring all details are executed to a high standard
  • Clearly communicate costs, options, and processes to families
  • Work within a centralised scheduling model to support workload distribution across the team
  • Collaborate with internal teams across multiple locations
  • Maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment
