We’re partnering with a well-regarded, purpose-driven organisation based just outside the Sydney CBD to recruit a Graduate Accountant role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to move beyond a transactional role and gain genuine exposure across the finance function.
You’ll join a collaborative and dynamic environment where finance plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership, including executive stakeholders, you’ll have the opportunity to develop both your technical accounting capability and your commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger integrity and support financial reporting requirements
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
- Provide financial insights and support to non-finance stakeholders
The successful applicant will have:
- Recently completed a degree in a relevant degree e.g. finance/accounting/business
- Studying or intending to undertake a CA/CPA qualification
- A great attitude- someone who is very proactive and motivated when it comes to their own learning
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
