Reporting into the Group Financial controller, you will be responsible for providing monthly financial statements and analysis to Management and assist in a wide range of areas with the core focus on the following:
- Maintain General Ledger for Corporate Entities
- Provide monthly Profit & Loss variance analysis to department Heads
- Produce monthly balance sheets and GL reconciliations
- Prepare Group consolidated monthly reporting for Board
- Prepare group consolidation including elimination entries monthly
- Prepare & lodge Group Business Activity Statement (BAS)
- Assistance in the preparation of Group Payroll Tax returns
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
The Successful Applicant
CA or CPA qualified, or currently completing and will have commenced your career within a Big 4 or mid-tier environment ideally from Audit and Assurance before making your first step into a commercially complex large organisation. You will have a proven track record in the preparation of financial statements and have excellent technical accounting skills.
