About the Role 
A fast-growing, well-established consumer branded business is looking for a Head of Finance to lead its finance function. This is a senior hands-on leadership role, with broad responsibility across financial reporting, business partnering, and team leadership.

Working closely with operational and commercial leadership to drive financial performance and support continued growth. The role has strong visibility within the broader group and offers a genuine platform for career development.

The Responsibilities

• Own the full financial reporting cycle including month end, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
• Prepare and present management accounts and performance reporting to senior stakeholders
• Partner with commercial and operational leaders to provide financial insight that drives better decisions
• Lead, develop, and support a small finance team
• Manage relationships with group finance, external auditors, and other key stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
• Contribute to group-wide finance projects and transformation initiatives as required

The successful applicant should have

• CA or CPA qualified
• Experience at a Head of Finance, CFO, Group Financial Controller level
• Background in consumer goods, FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution advantageous
• Experience operating within a listed group or large private business preferred
• Proven people leader with the ability to develop and motivate a small team
• Strong systems capability with a continuous improvement mindset
• Commercially curious - able to move between the detail and the bigger picture with ease
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholder
