An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced After Hours Hospital Coordinator for our Private hospital based in South East Melbourne. In this role, you’ll provide leadership and support after hours, overseeing hospital operations, ensuring high standards of clinical care, and maintaining operational efficiency across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage hospital-wide operations after hours, ensuring high standards of care and efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for staff, resolving clinical and non-clinical issues.
- Coordinate emergency responses, including MET calls, hospital codes, and critical incidents.
- Ensure safe staffing levels, utilising shift communication tools and escalating issues as needed.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Extensive experience in acute care settings, with previous Hospital Coordinator or similar leadership experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams in a hospital environment.
