What You'll Be Doing
Employee Relations & Investigations
- Manage ER cases independently from day one, including investigations, letter writing, and driving matters through to outcome
- Provide advice and interpretation on EBA/Award matters
- Support union engagement and consultation processes
- Partner with leaders on performance, conduct, and workplace behaviour matters
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across a unique site running on multiple shifts
- Build and embed policies, procedures and frameworks where limited structure currently exists
- Support workforce planning and contribute to a positive, engaged, and compliant workplace culture
- Partner on EBA-related matters, including supporting future enterprise agreement renewal planning
- Support end-to-end recruitment across a number of current open roles as an interim priority
- Post job advertisements, screen candidates, and support them post-placement across a range of blue and white-collar roles
- Demonstrated experience as a generalist HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor, able to manage ER cases and investigations autonomously
- Strong award exposure, ideally with exposure to EBA and union processes
- Comfort and confidence building policies, procedures and ways of working from scratch, without relying on existing frameworks
- A mindset suited to shaping and growing a function, rather than following an established playbook
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels, including union representatives
- Hours: Part-time, hours can be flexible for the right candidate (24-30 hours per week)
