About:
A long‑established, proudly family‑owned organisation is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Human Resources Manager to support its next phase of growth. With over 50 years in operation and around 200 employees across multiple WA regional sites, the business has grown significantly while maintaining a down‑to‑earth, supportive culture where people work together and value genuine relationships.

This is a standalone HR role where you will build structure, uplift capability, and support leaders who have had limited exposure to formal HR frameworks. You’ll work closely with the leadership team, Payroll, Finance, and operational managers to embed consistent practices and drive cultural alignment across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day HR operations and provide responsive support to managers and staff.
  • Review and update ER/IR documentation and ensure compliance with awards and legislation.
  • Support Payroll with leave, entitlements, and award interpretation.
  • Introduce structure around shift work, rate sheets, pay banding, and performance reviews.
  • Coach leaders on people management, capability development, and workforce planning.
  • Drive culture and engagement initiatives across operational and regional teams.
  • Strengthen collaboration between HR, Payroll, Finance, and site leadership.
  • Lead inclusion, engagement, and culture‑building activities across the business.
  • Support organisational structure improvements as the business continues to scale.
About You
  • Proactive, confident, and hands‑on - comfortable working in a standalone capacity.
  • Strong ER/IR capability with the ability to guide, educate, and influence.
  • Experienced in coaching leaders and building capability.
  • Practical, approachable, and comfortable in an open‑door, non‑corporate environment.
  • Adaptable and able to work with a wide range of personalities.
  • Passionate about culture, engagement, and creating an inclusive environment.
Why Join?
  • Opportunity to shape and build the HR function in a growing, evolving business.
  • Work closely with a supportive leadership team committed to modernising the organisation.
  • Be part of a company with strong values, long‑standing employees, and a genuine family culture.
  • Make a real impact on culture, capability, and business performance.
