Operating across multiple international markets, the business supplies high-volume products into major retail, wholesale and quick-service channels. Despite its global footprint, the organisation has maintained a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial culture, where HR partners closely with leaders to support operational success.
With approximately 30 employees already onboard and operations commencing shortly, this newly established facility is entering a critical growth phase.
This is hands-on standalone site-based role, you will provide broad generalist HR support while partnering closely with local leaders and a supportive national People team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice across employee relations matters
- Support performance management, misconduct, workplace investigations, incident investigations and WHS initiatives
- Coach leaders through difficult conversations and people-related decisions
- Partner with site leadership to build capability and strengthen employee engagement
- Manage workers compensation and return-to-work processes
- Prepare contracts, letters and employment documentation
- Assist with recruitment activities where required
- Support ANZ-wide HR initiatives and projects
- Assist with change management and workforce growth initiatives
- Embed existing HR frameworks and processes within the new facility
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or broad generalist HR role
- Exposure to manufacturing, production, logistics, industrial or other blue-collar environments
- Strong employee relations capability and knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience with workers compensation and return-to-work processes
- Comfortable working autonomously while being supported by a broader HR team
- Confident partnering with operational leaders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within highly regulated environments will be highly regarded
