Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations matters end-to-end, including investigations, grievances, and compliance risk
- Partner closely with the Managing Director and leadership team on all people matters
- Provide coaching and support to leaders across performance, behaviour, and engagement
- Drive WHS and compliance initiatives, identifying and addressing current gaps
- Support HR operations including systems, processes, and employee benefits administration
- Contribute to improving culture, engagement, and employee experience initiatives
- Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice across the full employee lifecycle
You will be embedded within a business unit of approximately 50-100 employees, operating within a broader global portfolio model.
You will need to:
- Operate with autonomy and sound judgement
- Manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders
- Work across several HR and business systems
- Support a business continuing to improve its processes and structure
- Build strong relationships quickly and establish credibility with leaders
- 5+ years HR experience within a Business Partner or Senior Advisor capacity
- Strong employee relations and investigations capability
- Exposure to WHS and compliance environments
- Confidence working directly with senior leaders
- The ability to operate independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Remains calm under pressure
- Is pragmatic, commercially minded, and solutions-focused
- Is comfortable influencing and pushing back where required
- Enjoys hands-on environments with variety and ownership
- Does not rely on perfect structure to succeed
- Direct partnership with a Managing Director and leadership team
