Based across Innisfail and Tully, this role offers the opportunity to support a diverse workforce while gaining strong exposure across employee relations, advisory, and key people initiatives. You will work closely with experienced leaders who value collaboration, development, and practical outcomes.
This is a hands-on position with a strong operational focus, including a high level of employee relations and stakeholder engagement. At the same time, you will contribute to workforce planning, engagement, and development programs, providing a genuine pathway into broader Business Partnering.
This opportunity is well suited to either an experienced HR Business Partner or a Senior HR Advisor ready to step up.
Key Duties Will Include:
- Provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and case management
- Coach and support leaders on performance, conduct, and development
- Partner with operational and corporate teams across a diverse workforce
- Contribute to workforce planning, succession, and engagement initiatives
- Support development programs including apprenticeships, traineeships, and internal capability building
- Assist with HR systems, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle
- Solid capability in employee relations and investigations
- Experience working within operational or blue-collar environments
- Confident stakeholder engagement and ability to influence at all levels
- Practical, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
- Salary up to $109,000 + super (dependent on experience)
