They are now seeking a HR Officer to join their centralised People team on an initial 3-5‑month contract, supporting a busy portfolio of employee movements, HR processes and administrative workflows.
For the right candidate there is possibility for permanency.
This is a high-volume, process‑driven role suited to someone who enjoys working in fast‑paced environments and can manage multiple moving parts across a 24/7 operational workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑volume HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle
- Manage and respond to a busy HR inbox, triaging queries efficiently
- Process employee movements including transfers, promotions and roster changes
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, records and forms
- Track and follow up on employee changes using spreadsheets and manual trackers
- Maintain position numbers and internal workforce data
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to ensure processes are completed
- Previous experience in HR administration or coordination
- Strong attention to detail with excellent processing capability
- Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working in manual, less systemised environments
- Ideally experienced in mining, heavy industry or shift‑based environments
