About The Role:
The Information Management Advisor is a partner to the business, providing strategic and operational advice, direction and support to employees and management in relation to information management.
Responsibilities
The Information Management Advisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of key information management initiatives.  

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the configuration of the EDRMS to support operational efficiency
  • Manage the Information Management team
  • Lead EDRMS development and information migration projects and drive the project team to deliver on objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by challenging, reviewing and analysing processes managed within the EDRMS and recommend changes.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate information management end user training.
  • Monitor, report and promote organisational compliance with information management certification, legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee document control activities, including: the use of templates; management of controlled documents; and distribution.
  • Information management end user support including compliant management of information; retention and disposal; security classification; business classification; and guiding the Information Management Champion group in information management best practice.
  • Monitor current and emerging information management requirements and promote best practice across the business.
Your Knowledge and experience:
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of information and records management principles, including knowledge of legislation and standards governing the management of data, documents and records.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of and experience working within the legislative and regulatory information management frameworks required of either Local, State or Federal public agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and administering an Electronic Records Management System (EDRMS).
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and delivering information management learning and awareness programs
