A well-established boutique accounting firm based in the heart of Perth CBD is seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate Accountant to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive and professional public practice environment.
Working closely with senior accountants and partners, you will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries while being supported in your professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
• Preparation of BAS, IAS, and other compliance obligations
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
• Liaising directly with clients regarding accounting and taxation matters
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Supporting senior team members with client management and ad hoc projects

About You

• 1–3 years’ experience within Australian public practice accounting
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
• Commenced or willing to commence CA/CPA studies
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
