12 Month Fixed-Term Contract | Northern Suburbs | 5 Days Onsite

We’re partnering with a well established organisation in Melbourne’s northern suburbs to secure an experienced IT Engineer to support a busy infrastructure environment during a key leadership transition.

This is a hands-on, internal-facing role sitting in a small team environment. Ideal for someone stepped up from helpdesk or early infrastructure experience into a more well rounded systems role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing Level 2/3 support across Microsoft technologies and core systems.
• Acting as an escalation point for more complex helpdesk issues.
• Supporting vulnerability management and coordinating patching activities.
• Assisting with server lifecycle tasks including upgrades and configuration.
• Working closely with architecture and security teams on day-to-day priorities. 

What we’re looking for:

• Around 2+ years’ experience in a Systems Engineer/Infrastructure-focused role
• Strong exposure to Microsoft 365, Intune, and Group Policy.
• Background in helpdesk with progression into infrastructure support.
• Comfortable working in a small team and picking up a broad range of tasks.
• No heavy networking experience required.
