We’re partnering with a well established organisation in Melbourne’s northern suburbs to secure an experienced IT Engineer to support a busy infrastructure environment during a key leadership transition.
This is a hands-on, internal-facing role sitting in a small team environment. Ideal for someone stepped up from helpdesk or early infrastructure experience into a more well rounded systems role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing Level 2/3 support across Microsoft technologies and core systems.
- Acting as an escalation point for more complex helpdesk issues.
- Supporting vulnerability management and coordinating patching activities.
- Assisting with server lifecycle tasks including upgrades and configuration.
- Working closely with architecture and security teams on day-to-day priorities.
- Around 2+ years’ experience in a Systems Engineer/Infrastructure-focused role
- Strong exposure to Microsoft 365, Intune, and Group Policy.
- Background in helpdesk with progression into infrastructure support.
- Comfortable working in a small team and picking up a broad range of tasks.
- No heavy networking experience required.
