Job Description:      
The role of IT Manager, works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the needs of business processes, systems, and technology.  It is the intent that this role becomes an SME with business applications supporting manufacturing, logistics and sales functionality.  The role has an added responsibility to interpret and capture business needs developing functional requirements, scope of work and test plan documentation. 
 
This role is a mixture of standard IT administration (such as computer deployment, basic support, and MS O365 administration) mixed with supporting key applications to ensure that required functionality is understood and delivered.   There is a requirement to ensure all locations are supported from an IT perspective and this role is key to managing those support needs.
 
The role is diverse in activities from hands on support through to strategic direction.


Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing support of business applications ensuring overall availability, integrity, and security
  • Capture and document functional requirements and related business processes.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business systems and ongoing support requirements.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements and efficiencies.
  • Plan and assist in the delivery and management of projects.
  • Develop, manage, and track project plans and business cases
  • Proactively identify Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies
  • Conduct user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
  • Incident & request management
  • Liaise with & coordinate with suppliers for purchasing, repairs & maintenance
  • Software and hardware asset management and control
  • Ensure that response times and Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded.
  • Provide local and remote (phone based) diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to hardware, software or peripheral devices
  • Ensure wellbeing of all locations - Australia wide
  • Detailed articulation of functional requirement
  • Timelines and budget adherence
  • Ability to influence appropriate outcome
  • Able to be a 'trusted advisor'
     
Your Technical Skills:
  • Manage external vendors to achieve best outcomes
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
  • Guaranteeing the smooth running of all systems, including backups, anti-virus software, email provision etc.
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Evaluation of user needs and system functionality and ensuring that IT facilities meet these needs.
  • Assistance to users with all IT issues

Your Capabilities
  • Solid experience within applications support
  • Experience managing and negotiating with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management experience and hands on experience across full project lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation, planning and organising skills   

Your Experience
  • Experience within Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with NetSuite, power user or Admin level is sufficient is desirable
  • Experience developing functional requirements documents, desirable
  • Experienced with data integrations advantageous
  • Experienced with O365, Azura Active Directory, Windows Desktop and Server issues. 
  • Experienced with Azure Cloud Services
  • Experience maintaining and optimising existing systems
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, server administration, network administration and network installation.
