The IT Officer will work within a team that will plan, implement, and support IT systems, communications systems and software applications to ensure that they are maintained, secure, legally compliant and cost effective.
Key responsibilities also include:
- Provide advice and technical support on a range of IT related subjects to staff, including successful resolution of both
hardware and software issues; - Facilitate desktop imaging and software distribution for new starters and departing employees.
- Build new PC’s, Laptops and Tablets to SOE requirements as directed.
- Perform daily IT operational tasks such as backups and routine system maintenance
- Perform administrative and governance tasks
- Document and submit planning approach prior to undertaking system testing;
- Assist in development of ICT policies, procedures and practices
- Provide software support and guidance on hardware and communication networks;
- A solid Level 1, 2 and 3 Service Desk and IT support background
- Experience with Microsoft suite including O365, Active Directory
- Troubleshooting hardware, network and software issues, supporting desktops in a Microsoft environment.
- Strong experience in the delivery of IT end user support including knowledge of helpdesk tools and reporting.
- End User devices i.e., laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, IT network and hardware
