My client is a household business name that works to improve the working environments of all businesses in Victoria.
They have a hybrid working model that aligns with the most current government health guidelines and restrictions. With that in mind, this role may have to work from both the office and from home.


The Role:

The Change Manager provides strategic and tactical change management support and guidance to my clients Business Units to help enable effective adoption and integration of change within the Business Unit and across the business.

This is a daily rate contracting role up until the 10th of October 2022. In this role you will be key to ensuring that changes driven by technology, processes, operating model, corporate strategy and government directives are successfully adopted and embedded, with minimal disruption to the organisation, its people and stakeholders.

You will be a part of the Change Management Team and work within an assigned Business Unit. You would work closely with BU Leaders to plan and manage change, informed by a sound understanding of the Business Unit’s operations and people and a strategic view of all known, planned changes and their impacts from a people perspective.


Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive positive change behaviours and outcomes by coaching and influencing Executives and Senior Leaders
  • Develop and maintain the Business Unit Change Management Strategy
  • Monitor and ensure effective change resourcing for business unit change initiatives through developing and maintaining strong business unit knowledge and engagement
  • Lead the effective design, implementation and evaluation of change management analysis and plans
  • Develop key messages and collaborate with Executive and Senior Leaders to facilitate divisional and team briefings.

Your skills and experience:
  • 4+ years of Change Management experience with significant experience contributing to business transformation programs;
  • Knowledge of Change Management techniques, tools, and practices;
  • A flexible, reflective, entrepreneurial and adaptable working style (able to work in ambiguous, fast paced, continuous improvement and cross-functional team environments);
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and proposals, and their value to target audiences;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish credibility quickly and gain a reputation as a trusted advisor;
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal;
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communications.

Your Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
    Accreditation in change management disciplines highly desirable
