About the Role 

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to step into a Junior Commercial Analyst role within a fast-paced and collaborative finance team. You’ll gain hands-on experience across commercial analysis, reporting, and business partnering, working closely with key stakeholders to drive performance and support decision-making.

Key responsibilities include: 
  • Analyse customer and product profitability to identify margin improvement opportunities
  • Maintain and update pricing models to support revenue and margin growth
  • Monitor slow-moving inventory (SLOB) and drive actions to improve stock efficiency
  • Analyse freight and logistics costs, identifying areas impacting profitability
  • Support monthly variance analysis (budget vs actuals), providing insights on performance
  • Assist with preparation of monthly management reporting packs
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data from ERP systems
  • Provide ad-hoc commercial analysis and modelling to support business decisions
The successful candidate will have:
  • 3 years’ experience,
  • Completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree
  • Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in commercial finance
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent computer capability 
  • Confident communicator, able to present insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
