About the role

You will play a key role supporting integrated data and technology business units by providing straight forward and strategic advice on privacy, GDPR and commercial and technology agreements.  Diversity will be the central theme, but some of the key tasks this role entails are:

• Working on implementing best practice data governance across data and technology products and general business operations;
• Undertaking privacy assessments and assisting with the design, implementation and maintenance of privacy compliance frameworks; 
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with advertising clients and industry-leading tech, SAAS and data companies and start-ups.

This is a role where you will be supported to expand your skills, with areas such as IP, corporate, litigation and business skills being some of the key sectors for you to grow your expertise.

About you

You could already be in private practice thinking about that “first move in house”, or a Legal Counsel seeking a step up and exposure to a global business.  Either way we know you will have some great skills to bring to the table based on your commercial legal experience within the technology, data and privacy/GDPR space.
