About the opportunity
A newly created Loadout Supervisor role has opened up at a large-scale food processing facility, driven by growth in the loadout function rather than a replacement hire. You'll join an established leadership team, reporting to the Loadout Manager, and take ownership of a key part of the site's daily operation.
This is a floor-based leadership role - you'll be out with your team for the bulk of the shift, driving performance and keeping product moving.
Roster: Fixed 6:00am–5:00pm shift, 6-on/2-off rotating roster (alternating between 4-day and 2-day work weeks)

About the role
Leading a large frontline team, you'll be responsible for the smooth flow of product through the loadout process - coordinating frozen, chilled and offal product movement, managing cold chain and freezer capacity, and ensuring production-readiness ahead of each shift. You'll work closely with Production Supervisors on labour coordination, coach your team day-to-day, and take ownership of KPIs and downtime performance.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage product flow across frozen, chilled and offal lines
  • Coordinate cold chain and freezer capacity planning
  • Ensure systems and equipment are production-ready ahead of each shift
  • Coordinate labour with other frontline supervisors
  • Provide hands-on shift coaching and team leadership
  • Own KPI performance and drive downtime minimisation
  • Uphold food safety and WHS compliance across the shift
About you
You're an experienced frontline leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operation. You bring strong warehousing experience and are confident leading a large team through a physically demanding, structured environment.
You will ideally have:
  • Solid warehousing experience essential; food or FMCG warehousing highly regarded
  • Meat or protein processing background preferred but not essential - full training provided
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience, ideally leading larger teams
  • A safety-first mindset; food safety/compliance knowledge can be developed on the job
  • Willingness to work a fixed early-morning, 6-on/2-off rotating roster
Why this role
  • Newly created leadership role with genuine scope to shape the function
  • Join a well-established, high-volume operation
  • Structured rotating roster with regular RDOs built in
  • Strong support from an experienced leadership team
