About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in managing product costing, inventory accounting, financial analysis, and supporting business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate product costing and cost analysis.
- Analyse manufacturing and operational costs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and support stocktake processes.
- Assist with month-end reporting, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare variance analysis and provide insights to management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Develop and improve costing processes and internal controls.
- Partner with operational teams to improve efficiency and profitability.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA or CA qualification (completed or working towards) is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a Cost Accountant or Management Accountant role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory accounting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
