The Role | Reporting to the Accounting Manager
Specific duties will include:
- Assist with preparation of budget/forecast reports for presentation to the Board and internal reports for use by the Finance/Operations staff
- Assist with the development of budget templates
- Extraction and analysis of the Weekly and Monthly revenue flash analysis including commentary
- Analyse P&Ls as directed, ensuring all transactions are recorded and commentary provided
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve variances
- Assist and process month end journals
- Process accrual journals
Working towards or having completed a CA/CPA qualification, you will have a minimum of two years prior experience working as an Assistant Accountant within a commercial organisation or an equivalent level within a chartered accounting firm.
You are a committed team player who works well in a dynamic environment and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
