The Role
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller and supporting three key business units (product lines), you will be responsible for a broad range of reporting and analytical activities. You will be engaging extensively with key operational stakeholders, providing advice, business partnering and commercial guidance to balance operational objectives with financial discipline. Specifically, your duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly reporting, including actual results, variations from budget, full year forecast results and KPI reports
- Building budgets and forecasts
- Engaging with operational managers to evaluate commercial decisions
- Review and analysis of Profit and Loss statements
- Ad hoc internal reporting as required
You are CA/CPA qualified from a Big 4/Mid-Tier or large complex organisation upbringing with subsequent experience as a Financial or Management Accountant in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will have a strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to apply accounting standards effectively and you have experience in a role that has required you to influence a wide range of non-financial stakeholders.
Interpersonally you are bright, engaging, confident, and can easily build strong professional relationships across an organisation. You are also highly proficient with MS Excel and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
