- Manage and grow major national distributor accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for commercial, technical, and strategic matters.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with key distributor partners to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and alignment across the organisation.
- Support distributor sales teams through joint sales calls, training, project support, and technical guidance to maximise conversion and sell‑through.
- Identify, track, and support project opportunities in collaboration with distributors and broader industry stakeholders.
- Prepare and support electronic product schedules, specifications, pricing, and tenders aligned to customer and project needs.
- Deliver CPDs, product training, and formal presentations to distributor teams and external stakeholders.
- Act as a national escalation point for distributors on product, technical, pricing, and troubleshooting matters.
- Build strong relationships with key decision‑makers within distributor head offices and major accounts nationally.
- Maintain accurate CRM records including account plans, project tracking, call reports, and sales forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, distributor performance, and competitor activity, providing insights to support strategic decision‑making.
- Work cross‑functionally with internal sales, marketing, customer service, operations, and supply‑chain teams to deliver seamless outcomes.
- Travel interstate to support key accounts, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience in key account management or national account management within a B2B environment.
- Industry background is open; experience within construction, technology, manufacturing, security, or technically led products will be well regarded but not essential.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex customer relationships, ideally through distributor or channel‑led models.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop joint plans and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Comfortable working across technical and commercial discussions, with the ability to learn complex product solutions.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and disciplined in CRM and forecasting.
- Self‑motivated and capable of operating autonomously in a national role.
- Willingness to travel interstate regularly as part of the role; valid driver’s licence required.
