If you are an experienced compliance professional that has had a lot of exposure to Food Safety and or Work, Health & Safety and are looking for a new challenge then this is a role you will need to consider. 

In this role you will be involved in

• Providing reports on a regular basis, and as requested, to keep the Corporate Compliance and Risk Management Committee and senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts within the organization
• Identifying, prioritizing and mitigating material risks
• Serving as a source of information and point of contact re: compliance matters and referring matters as appropriate to the Legal Manager and COO to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and Company rules. 
• Assuring appropriate training programs are conducted to mitigate compliance risks within the organization 
• Facilitating proper reporting of violations or potential violations of law and/or Company policy and assisting with investigations where applicable.
• Promoting and assuring actions are taken to conduct business within the organization in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Company policy.
• Developing/implementing corrective action plans for resolution of compliance violations. 
• Monitoring Compliance Program effectiveness within the organization 
• Assist in investigating and implementing legislative changes that affects the business.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced compliance professional that has had significant exposure to Food Safety, ideally WHS, ISO and liquor licensing. You will also have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and be prepared to undertake some travel.
