Reporting into the CEO, this role has been newly created to help drive the strategic direction of one of the key divisions of the organisation. The role sits on the Executive Leadership Team, has a strong sales leadership focus, and has ultimate responsibility in delivering growth to the division.
Duties
- Build & execute the sales growth strategy & business plan
- Sales leadership across a large & diverse team, including driving capability & performance
- Help develop a formalised, best practice training program for the team
- Drive brand awareness, including assisting with digital & e-comms strategy of the wider business
- Active involvement with suppliers & key customer engagement
- Lead from the front in driving higher-level customer relationships at GM level and above
- General analysis & reporting back into the parent organisation
- Build & drive a strong culture amongst the team, as well as collaboration with other parts of the organisation
- Sales leadership experience at a similar level
- Proven track record in driving uplift & results through a sales team
- Ability to manage a large & diverse sales team on national scale
- Wholesale industry experience dealing with trade customers & branch networks highly regarded
- Passionate about taking a business unit & sales team to the next level
