About the role

This unique role will allow you to play a pivotal part in the success of the business by being the go-to person for any IT support or ad hoc tasks to support an inclusive and driven team of Lawyers. The main focus of this role will be to provide general IT support to all staff day-to-day, and troubleshoot queries or refer them to the external IT provider. You will be technologically savvy with the ability to investigate and learn, and you will be flexible in your approach to work with the attitude that no task is too big or too small. Pease note there is the opportunity to either work full-time, or minimum 4 days a week. You must be immediately available to interview.

Responsibilities

Working to support the Office Manager and wider team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
  • Answering and responding to calls and queries, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing PDF and Word documents in terms of preparation, formatting, editing, uploading and tracking changes
  • Generating reports from a multitude of systems
  • Company searches
  • Preparing marketing material
  • On-boarding new starters and preparing all their IT equipment
  • Updating the Administration/IT Manual
  • All other ad hoc tasks
Skills / Experience

This role requires a tech-savvy Administrator who is used to being the person in the office that everyone goes to for IT support. Key skills and experience include but are not limited to;
  • Savvy with technology and demonstrated experience using a multitude of systems concurrently
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and sound knowledge of Adobe, Xero or another accounting software, Canva and any file management system
  • Previous experience in Law is favourable but not essential
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and follow-through
  • Confident approach to work and pro-active attitude to learning a new challenge
  • Positive attitude to helping the team, where no task is too big or too small
