About the business
Our client is a well-established Australian logistics company with close to 30 years in operation, servicing the Energy, Mining, Rail, Infrastructure and Government sectors. They deliver end-to-end logistics solutions for some of the world's most complex projects — moving oversized, heavy and technically challenging cargo across land, sea and air for major operators, EPC/EPCM companies and equipment suppliers.

The opportunity
This is a hands-on coordination role sitting at the heart of global logistics operations. You'll be working directly with Senior Project Managers, taking ownership of end-to-end movements — from planning through to on-site execution. Our client is willing to consider candidates at different stages of their career, and is genuinely invested in developing the right person. If you want to build real technical and commercial expertise in complex logistics, this is the role to do it in.

What you'll do
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations across domestic and international projects
  • Manage relationships with suppliers — vessels, haulage, cranes, ports, stevedores and agents
  • Produce operations plans, technical documents and project reports
  • Support commercial bids and proposals alongside the Business Development team
  • Liaise directly with clients, providing professional reporting and updates throughout project delivery
  • Travel to domestic and international project sites to supervise and coordinate live operations
  • Ensure all operations are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget
What we're looking for
  • A background in transport, freight or logistics
  • Practical, hands-on experience working for a transport or logistics company is highly regarded
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable with autonomy, accountability and working at pace
  • A coachable mindset — our client will invest in developing the right person
  • Fit for regular travel and able to meet mine site medical requirements
Why this role?

  • Performance-based bonus after 12 months
  • All domestic and international travel fully paid
  • Mentoring and development from experienced Senior Project Managers
  • Genuine variety — no two projects are the same
  • Perth based, with travel to domestic and international project sites
