About the Role:
Sitting within a lean Technical Services & Innovation team, this role plays a key part in supporting both internal sales teams and external customers.
On any given week, you'll be involved in everything from pre-sales solutioning and technical advice, through to network design, customer support, and occasional on-site work.
While the role is varied, the core focus is clear. Pre-sales and solution support will make up the majority of your time (50%) and The remainder is split across technical support, engineering input, and services delivery.
This isn't a siloed engineering role it's an opportunity to be a trusted technical voice across the full customer lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll work closely with both customers and internal stakeholders to design and support OT solutions. This includes:
- Acting as the technical bridge between customers and the sales team
- Supporting pre-sales activities, including solution design and product recommendations
- Designing and advising on OT network infrastructure (switching, routing, wireless)
- Providing technical support across L1-L3 issues when required
- Assisting with configuration, testing, and deployment of solutions
- Delivering customer training and technical guidance
What We're Looking For:
At its core, this role is about finding someone with strong networking fundamentals who can also engage confidently with people.
We're ideally looking for:
- Proven experience in network engineering (CCNA or equivalent highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of switching, routing, and network infrastructure
- Exposure to wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, mesh, access points, controllers)
- A personable, customer-facing mindset with strong communication skills
- CISCO Certified essential.
