About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play an integral role in the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services for the organisation. Working as part of a close knit team, you will be responsible for a broad range of payroll duties, including:

• Processing the payroll for 400 + employees
• Preparation, reconciliation and payment of superannuation and payroll tax
• Calculating termination payments, redundancies, and long service leave entitlements
• Working & interpreting various EBA's and Award
• Responding to payroll related queries and providing exceptional employee support
• Completing payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements
• Maintaining payroll compliance and accuracy across all payroll activities
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes
• Keeping up to date with legislative changes and payroll best practices
• Other ad hoc payroll related duties

About You:
To be successful in this position, you will be a knowledgeable payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes. You will ideally possess:

• Have proven prior experience within the payroll space (for a similar sized business / volume of employees)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
• A reliable and professional approach to your work
• Intermediate excel skills
