Our client is a market-leading Australian business, with operations globally. They are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their high performing and supportive team in an ongoing temporary capacity, with long term potential.
The Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a close-knit supportive team, you will be responsible for:
- Payroll processing for employees in a high volume environment
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Relevant payroll reporting
The successful applicant will have:
- Prior experience within a similar high volume Payroll Officer position
- Experience with Ascender is favourable, but not required
- Experience processing payroll with multiple EBAs and Awards
- Ability to hit the ground running and work collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
