Our client is renowned for being a market leader in the healthcare industry, a not-for-profit organisation bringing quality healthcare and services to the community. They are currently seeking an ambitious Part-Time Payroll Officer to join the team on a temporary, but ongoing basis (3 days a week). They are looking for a candidate to hit the ground running and undertake the end-to-end payroll process. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join an employer of choice.
Position Description:
Reporting to and working closely with the Payroll Manager, your duties will include:

- Fortnightly payroll processing
- HR3 payroll maintenance
- Superannuation payment via payroll platform
- Posting of Payroll journals to MYOB advanced
- Calculation and posting of Employee entitlements to MYOB advanced
- Year-end payroll reconciliations
- Assist with responding to employee queries
- Assist with termination pays
- Assist with Long Service Leave Reconciliations
Finance Support –
- Reconciliation & preparation of monthly doctor’s statements.
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly journals
- Supervision of accounts payable staff
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will have similar proven experience in a Payroll Officer role as well as having the following attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to hit the ground running
- Time & Attendance experience ideal
- HR3 experience advantageous yet not essential
- MYOB Advanced experience highly desired, yet not essential
- Experience in a similar role
