Our client is a growing and highly recognisable brand, within a fun and exciting industry. Located at their Melbourne head office in the city, this senior role is responsible for effectively managing the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the Head of HR Services and working within a small, close knit team, your daily tasks will include:
- Managing the relationship with Australian head office and the outsourced payroll function (approximately 7,000 employees in total)
- Management of 1 Payroll Officer locally
- Payroll reconciliations, payroll tax and award interpretation
- Ongoing governance and compliance
- Payroll reporting as well as leading other ad hoc payroll projects
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Lead position along with the following attributes:
- Experience working with a medium/large scale business within payroll
- End to end payroll knowledge, including payroll reconciliations, tax and award knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Well-organized, positive, pro-active and able to work in a team environment
