Our client in one of Australia’s market leaders in the healthcare industry. Due to recent acquisitions, the need has arisen for additional Payroll Officer support to assist the Victorian payroll. Working within a supportive team, this role will be suited for those that are able to hit the ground running and are looking for their next challenge.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager and as part of a team, you will take ownership over the processing of a large payroll as well as the following duties:
- Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Interpreting awards and EBAs
- Other payroll administration duties
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer role along with the following attributes:
- Experience processing in a payroll position
- Ideally have worked in healthcare industry / or used a large ERP such as SAP
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
