The Client

Our client is a national industrial services group that provide specialised logistic solutions to customers across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self motivated Payroll Officer to join a reputable business based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, in a temporary to permanent opportunity. 


Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Processing 2 weekly payrolls for 150+ employees
  • Lodgement of superannuation and tax
  • Entering new employee details
  • Continuously update employee database 
  • Interpreting appropriate EBA’s
  • Calculate termination and redundancy packages
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service when responding to queries

To Be Successful

To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Experience in a similar Payroll position.
  • Are punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with customers and fellow employees. 
  • Experience with a Payroll platform 
  • A team player mentality. 
  • Forward thinking and solutions focused attitude to your work.
  • Easy going and friendly nature.
