They are seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team, based on St Kilda Road.
About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role will see you working within a fast-paced, payroll environment supporting a large workforce. This is a hands-on position suited to someone looking to grow professionally within a high-volume & well-established payroll environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end payroll processing across a large employee base
- Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Processing employee lifecycle changes including new starters, terminations, and variations
- Supporting payroll compliance and ensuring accuracy across all transactions
- Maintaining payroll records and data integrity
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business
- Assisting with payroll reporting and general payroll administration
You will be a reliable and adaptable payroll professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is looking to grow within a larger organisation.
Ideally, you will bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Experience working in a high-volume, payroll environment or looking to step up into one
- Exposure to large payroll systems & interpreting multiple EBA’s / awards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Background in healthcare, hospitality, or retail payroll environments is highly desirable!
