As a well-established business experiencing continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy and efficiency are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Processing payroll on a fortnightly basis.
- Interpreting and applying General Retail Industry Award.
- Processing new starters, termination, leave and overtime.
- Handling payroll queries from staff and management.
- Managing superannuation contributions and ensuring compliance with tax requirements and Fair Work legislation.
- Supporting audits by providing payroll data and documentation as required.
Ideal candidate
- Previous experience as a Payroll Officer.
- Understanding of the General Retail Industry Award.
- Experience working in a high-volume end-to-end payroll.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
