Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain payroll systems, employee records, and payroll master data.
- Process new hires, terminations, payroll adjustments, bonuses, and commissions.
- Reconcile leave, payroll reports, General Ledger accounts, and month-end activities.
- Prepare payroll tax, superannuation, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Respond to payroll enquiries and collaborate with HR, Finance, and stakeholders.
- Develop payroll procedures, resolve system issues, and support process improvements.
- Provide administrative support and assist the Payroll Manager with projects and initiatives.
Ideal candidate
- Previous experience as a Payroll Officer
- Experience with SAP, Employee Central (EC) or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) will be highly regarded.
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of superannuation and payroll tax regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
