About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in the end-to-end processing of a weekly payroll for a diverse workforce. Working alongside an experienced payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy while navigating a complex award environment and managing a variety of payroll scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end processing of weekly payroll for circa 500 employees
  • Interpret and apply multiple awards, EBAs and payroll rules accurately
  • Manage overtime calculations, allowances and one-off adjustments
  • Process new starters, terminations and payroll changes
  • Resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with payroll and finance stakeholders to support smooth payroll operations
About You
  • Minimum 5 years Australian payroll experience
  • Strong experience processing weekly payrolls in a high-volume environment
  • Proven experience managing multiple modern awards and enterprise agreements
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to manage deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced payroll environment
  • Experience with payroll systems and automated award interpretation tools highly regarded
