The Organisation
With over 40 years experience in the market, our client is a reputable company experiencing steady growth on an international scale. With team fit and culture a priority, the organisation is seeking a driven Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive team on a temporary 3 month assignment with an immediate start, located close to home in South Melbourne.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager and working within a large team, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- End to End Payroll processing for 5000+ employees
- Weekly and monthly payrolls
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover and Superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Calculating redundancies
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:
- High volume payroll processing experience
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Reliable and motivated attitude
