Our client is a well-established, industry-leading organisation currently undertaking a payroll backpay project. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing and supportive payroll team on an initial 3-month assignment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a critical payroll initiative within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role includes but is not limited to:
- Assist with payroll processing, including backdated entries, manual data entry, back pay calculations, and data validation.
- Interpret multiple EBA’s and awards.
- Analyse large amounts of payroll data, shift patterns, allowances and penalties using excel.
- Provide support for payroll-related projects and processes.
- Support reconciliation.
Ideal candidate
- Previous experience working on payroll projects
- Exposure to PayGlobal
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Immediately available
