This is an exciting opportunity to cut down your commute time working closer to home in the North, as the business are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, and working among a close knit payroll team, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Management of end to end weekly & monthly payroll processing
- Processing new starters and terminations
- Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
- Processing payroll tax, work cover and superannuation
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business, efficiently managing employees queries
- Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
- Additional tasks to assist the broader team
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer role as well as the following attributes:
- A passion for completing timely and accurate payroll
- Willingness to learn and desire to grow with the business
- Self motivated and can-do mindset
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
- Ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively among a team environment
