Our client is a large, highly complex organisation operating within the healthcare sector and undergoing significant transformation. With multiple concurrent projects and critical payroll dependencies, this organisation requires specialist payroll systems expertise to support enterprise wide change.
The Role
Ultimately reporting into the Director of Payroll Services, this contract role will play a critical part in supporting major payroll and system initiatives linked to organisational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Support payroll-related projects associated with the sale and separation of hospital assets
- Assist in the segregation and remediation of payroll data to ensure compliance, accuracy, and readiness for transition
- Provide system support and subject matter expertise across UKG
- Work closely with project teams, HR, IT, and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of pay during periods of change
- Contribute to testing, data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
- Support documentation, controls, and process updates aligned with transformation milestones
- Strong end‑to‑end payroll experience within large, complex organisations
- Demonstrated experience supporting payroll projects, system transitions, or data separation initiatives
- Hands‑on experience with large system software
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, change‑driven environments
- Strong attention to detail with a delivery‑focused mindset
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
