The Organisation
Our client is a well established and successful company that is going from strength-to-strength. Due to recent project work, they require the assistance of a Payroll Specialist, to job on board and help with the payroll processing and completion of special project work, for a minimum three month period with view of extension. Working among a supportive environment, with the capability to work from home or in the office located in Coburg, this is a new role, and a great opportunity for a payroll professional who is looking for their next challenge.
Position Description
This role is responsible for working in partnership with Payroll & Finance stakeholders to assist with the completion of the implementation of a new payroll system, and ensuring the smooth functioning of a "go live" date.
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- End to end payroll processing for 1,000+ employees using Chris 21
- Assisting with the completion of the implementation of Chris 21
- Run parallel pay cycles
- Interpreting multiple awards
- Processing and calculating month-end payroll tax/PAYG and superannuation
- Payroll reporting as well as other ad hoc duties
The Successful Candidate
To be a success in this role you will possess:
- Previous experience in high volume Payroll is essential using Chris 21
- Forward thinking mindset with a keen desire to assist with change
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
