Sharp & Carter are partnering with a large, well-established organisation operating within a complex, shared services environment. The business supports a sizeable workforce across multiple entities, with payroll playing a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant and timely outcomes in a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a structured payroll training and capability framework aligned to compliance, systems and process improvement priorities
- Develop onboarding programs, training materials, e-learning content, and facilitate workshops and coaching sessions across the payroll team
- Conduct skills gap analysis and implement targeted development initiatives to uplift team capability
- Partner with Payroll Leadership and relevant internal teams to embed legislative changes and process updates into training programs
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, maintaining accurate records and reporting on outcomes
- Engage with key stakeholders across payroll and broader business functions to support training delivery and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience within payroll operations, with exposure to training, coaching or capability development
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance frameworks and enterprise payroll systems
- Confident communicator with the ability to deliver engaging training and build strong stakeholder relationships
- Experience designing and delivering structured learning programs, ideally utilising LMS or digital training tools
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Relevant qualifications in HR, Education or Training (Cert IV in Training & Assessment highly regarded)
