Reporting into Merchandise Planner

Responsibilities include: 
  • Develop demand forecast across all articles (including new additions) in line with the critical path.
  • Work with Planner to execute strategy and measure results and recommend future actions.
  • Develop and produce both Daily & Weekly Company Reporting to the Merchandise Team on a timely basis.
  • Review of Store Inventory levels following store feedback (or Planner feedback) to determine learnings and proposed future actions.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results.    
  • Ensure articles are managed in season taking into account historical trends, current performance and future opportunities.
  • Ensure fundamentals of demand planning are clearly understood and thought process used to to create/develop demand forecast tool.
  • Replenishment is to be reviewed and maintained to ensure efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Determine future requirements of stock and sales forecast within the tool and maintain stock relevance with regards to orders placed.
