The Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Lead – Superannuation & TPD Claims to join a leading plaintiff law firm renowned for its commitment to client outcomes and access to justice.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and growing a successful Superannuation and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) practice. You will lead a team of lawyers and legal professionals, drive operational excellence, ensure outstanding client service, and contribute to the strategic development of the practice.

The role offers the opportunity to combine your technical expertise in superannuation and TPD claims with people leadership, business performance management, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of lawyers, paralegals and support staff.
• Oversee the management of a large portfolio of superannuation and TPD claims.
• Drive strong client outcomes through effective case strategy and claim management.
• Monitor and improve performance, productivity and profitability across the practice.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
• Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities for growth.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and client-focused culture.
• Work closely with firm leadership to execute strategic objectives.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Significant experience in Superannuation and TPD claims, ideally within a plaintiff law firm environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing legal teams and driving performance.
• Strong understanding of claims processes, insurers, trustees and dispute resolution pathways.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to balance client outcomes and business performance.
• A passion for mentoring teams and building a high-performance culture.
