This is a Process Engineer position within a large-scale manufacturing environment, based in a regional VIC location. You’ll play a key role in driving process optimisation, improving plant reliability, and supporting ongoing site upgrades. Working closely with operations and maintenance teams, you’ll be a critical link between engineering design and on-the-floor execution. This role suits someone who enjoys being both hands-on and analytical, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, improve systems, and deliver practical engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive process improvements across production lines to enhance efficiency and output
- Support plant reliability initiatives, including root cause analysis and preventative strategies
- Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Assist with plant upgrades, modifications, and optimisation projects.
- Mechanical Engineering degree or similar
- 5–10 years’ experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment
- Strong background in process engineering and reliability
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capability
- Ability to work collaboratively across site and influence stakeholders
- Exposure to CI frameworks (IWS / IL6S / TPM)
